Welcome to an exclusive sneak peek behind the scenes of the upcoming design tour of Milan and Paris! As we gear up for this exciting adventure, let's take a moment to shine a spotlight on the talented designers who will (most likely) be joining us on this creative journey.

As we prepare to jet off to Paris and meet for the first time on April 1st, the anticipation is palpable. The main activities kick off on April 2nd in Paris and continue in Milan on April 6th, promising a jam-packed itinerary filled with design inspiration, cultural exploration, and plenty of networking opportunities. From exploring the latest trends in furniture and interior design to soaking in the rich artistic heritage of these vibrant cities, we're eager to soak up every moment and translate their experiences into fresh, innovative creations.
Bree and I have been working behind the scenes to meet with a few designers. We know that these esteemed designers are extremely busy and run practices with demanding clients from around the globe. They are doing their best to meet with us, however we can't make guarantees and we hope that you understand.
So this is a list of some designers of note but we may not be able to see them all!
Sophie Dries

I was thrilled to work with Sophie on my book The New French Look and tell her that her work will be on the cover. This design tour would not have happened without Sophie - she suggested doing this tour!
Sophie Dries is one of those rare talents who seems to have everything covered. A graduate of ENSA Paris-Malaquais and Aalto University of Helsinki, she also has a contemporary art background from École du Louvre—because why not be brilliant in multiple disciplines? After sharpening her skills at the iconic studios of Jean Nouvel, Pierre Yovanovitch, and Christian Liaigre, Sophie opened her own studio in Paris in 2014 (and Milan followed in 2017, because why not have both?).
Her debut ceramics collection took center stage at Salone del Mobile in Milan, and since then, her work has been featured in prestigious international fairs like PAD London, Collectible in Brussels, and The Salon Art + Design in New York. From designing exquisite limited-edition furniture pieces focused on craftsmanship to moonlighting as a stage designer, Sophie is everywhere. And let’s not forget, she’s juggling an impressive range of residential and commercial projects. Basically, she's the design powerhouse we all aspire to be.
Pierre Yovanovitch
Pierre Yovanovitch has always had a soft spot for opera, and the whole concept of storytelling runs deep in his design process. Whether it’s capturing the essence of a client’s daily life or diving into the set design for Rigoletto at the opera, he’s all about weaving narrative into his work.
For Yovanovitch, it’s about finding that common thread—something that connects a space with its people, and creates a beautiful, meaningful encounter. There’s a real connection between crafting a story and designing a space, and Pierre takes that philosophy and seamlessly applies it to his residential work. It’s all about creating a story that’s as unique and personal as the people who live in the space.
It was an honour to feature Pierre's work in my book. We're visiting the Pierre Yonanovitch Gallerie however unfortunately Pierre is traveling during our visit. Pierre sends his sincerest apologies for missing us!

Christophe Delcourt
Christophe Delcourt (b. 1966) is a self-taught designer and interior architect known for finely crafted furniture and lighting in the tradition of French artisanat. His work is of an extreme elegance, relying on natural materials for their ability to give form to depth and emotion. As well as designing under his own name, he also collaborates with brands including Roche Bobois, Ligen Roset and Minotti.
